HOY! A lil over 1 hour left to bid! WHO OUTBID ME on this ONE-OF-A-KIND @lola.weavers #BowTie donated by I’m assuming @annskiii? There is also a #Filipinos in Stockton book by the late great @drmabalon @ricoreyes11 @fanhsstockton & an #AdoboPowered License Plate frame from @fanhsnationalmuseum! AND a #rarebooks #outofprint #firstedition VOICES: A Filipino American #OralHistory edited by #FANHS President Emerita Dr. Joan May T. Cordova @forcommunities & Alexis Canillo in 1984, and more! BID NOW!

So delicious: “Bot Chien Special Dish”=Pan-fried rice cake, which is like #mochi! Steamed rice cake cubes pan-fried with green onion and egg. Served with pickled green papaya, carrot, and cu Kieu with house soy sauce. I usually get their Banh Xeo crepe, but wanted to try something new. At Tamarind Tree in #LittleSaigon #Seattle. And they have outdoor seating with a nice patio!

Made a quick stop at #BlackWallStreet Community Fair today in the Central District (sponsored by @africatownsea with support from @kc4culture). Nice to see @black_pinay there! Another beautiful day in #Seattle.

We’re always looking for family-friendly places to eat that have good outdoor seating. @marinationcc in #columbiacity fits the bill. This used to be Super Six, owned by the same Asian American women owners (one is Pinay). No more sit down table service; like the other Marination Stations, you just order at the counter, they give you a buzzer, you pick up your food from the pick up window in the back past the bar. Open seating wherever you want. We got the Lūʻau Plate, the Aloha #Fries, a Spam Musubi, and a Malasada!

Tuesday #Tokwa #FriedTofu #Adobo with crispy garlic on top, from my monthly @musangseattle #table22 delivery. Made some sautéed greens with garlic and shallots on the side.

Lovely Monday Meal & Movie Nite: taught @irene_nekoeco of @littlemanilastockton how to make my mom’s #Pancit #CantonBihon. She plated & garnished it, with help from @jlachman381. We also had some of my monthly Table22 delivery from @musangseattle: #PancitLugLug, #Ensaladang Tagsibol (snap peas, cherry tomatoes, red onions, fried shallots). I also made #chickenafritada and #fruitsalad using Tita Belle’s healthier recipe. Irene made yummy #Cascaron too (deep fried mochi). After dinner, we watched the amazing documentary #FreeCholSooLee @fcsl_film which is free on PBS for #AANHPI #heritage Month. A really good day.
